    ... met vitessen en 125cc dus iets meer geschikt om een berg op te rijden! Alleen kan ik ze nergens vinden in de verhuur... Na ongeveer 2h rondlopen aan de Westkust heb ik er eindelijk toch eentje gevonden dat dan uiteindelijk niet te huur blijkt te zijn... I've seen these mini-motorcycles driving around from Honda and Kawasaki who appeal more to me than the 99% of scooters they rent here. They are as well motorcycles but with gears and 125cc so a little bit ...

    ... and workshop by the end of the month. Mike had asked him to re-build the 2 single beds. We were horrified when we heard this. This is a job for David and we told Mike this. in the end Thor the carpenter said he was too busy. David started to build the beds; they were labelled up like a jigsaw. Mike checked up on him after a long while only to discover he'd used the wrong screws in the wrong holes. We aren't sure if he actually completed ...

    ... A motorbike also appears from nowhere to take the guy to the local clinic. After lots of sterilisation and bandages the drama is over and we are on our way. I'm also feeling terrible, most probably to do with the two rather large thai whiskeys I drank the following night - I have since vowed never to drink local sprits again! Steve has done a great job of finding lovely accommodation called ByBeach ...

    ... his initial proposal, what we've completed on it and a very long list of what we feel is additional work which a) should at least be acknowledge and b) we are really due additional pay for too. We have considered emailing this and our thoughts to him but have decided to wait until he is on site. If we email it then we are sure Sarah will add her delightful mix of enthusiasm to it. We work for him, not her.

    All aboard a scheduled bus and not one exclusively for us so it is every man for himself finding seats. The seats are of the reclining variety which recline quite a long way. The problem is you finish up in the lap of the man or woman behind so after a few dirty looks and ‘Sharapova’ type grunts of disgust you raise you seat again and thus have little chance of much decent sleep. ...
