    ... strip of Starkas for his pose like we did in Greece on kefalonia island lol! Returning to town in bled we were starving!!!!!! We find a Mexican place and have some late lunch/early dinner. Mmmmmm it was good! Getting back to Ljubljana we were wrecked and had some organising to do for the next few days travels. We book our train tickets to budapest which was only about 15€ each as a special ticket but it meant we had to leave Ljubljana ...

    ... of ancient and medieval designs. He also restores Roman and Greek artifacts and jewelry. He had some very cool pieces of various stones and metals and of course, he had a pet Raven! We wondered what that big open cage in the corner was for. Later, we heard some hopping and flopping and here comes a huge Raven. Christoph said he was WAY too smart and that he's really the one in charge. We didn't find a ring that would fit and bid farewell.

    ... out, we found the very steep path up to the castle - there's a funicular, but puh! Funiculars are for wimps - and I dragged myself up it feeling as weak as a kitten. I think tiredness was catching up with me. I revived once we'd made it to the top though, as the views over the city to the jagged mountains beyond, swathed in Autumn mists, were enough to revitalise anyone's weary legs. There was a lot to see in and around the castle without having to pay the entrance ...

    A day of surprises as we ventured off to Slovenia. First we headed south back down the coast we had sailed to check out Sistania which looked awful from the sea but the locals said was very pretty. We drove through Duino, a pretty little port then wound down into Sistania which had a lovely beach, a big Marina and a whole new developement just like Port Solent. Definitely one worth ...

    ... a lot of young artist here with many sculptures and street art. I also seen the triple bridge, dragon bridge, Smarna Gora castle and Ljubljana cathedral. I tried a horse burger whilst there, I though it tasted better than a normal beef burger. My next stop was to Bled, a small village at the edge of a bright blue lake. The adventure sports town ...
