... br> Out of all the days on this trip these last two days really have been the hardest. Yesterday doing 400 miles did not seem too hard but the 250 or so miles today really was mighty hard work and sitting there in the restaurant my body just wanted to keel over and sleep.

Lunch eaten it was now time to go join the cars waiting to board the ferry. At least today the weather was good and i did not have to stand in the pouring rain such as at Venice.

Just had breakfast sitting in the cockpit and Pete is packing up ready to fly home this afternoon. He has very kindly given us the access codes so we can carry on our trip story using this site - so expect more entries over the next 3 weeks as we enjoy Amsterdam, attend the S&S AGM and then go exploring Dutch waters before making our way home.

... tour near our hotel this time... It's hard to believe we have finished our time in Amsterdam and are heading to Brussels tomorrow and that we are basically 2 weeks into our holiday already!! We have both found Amsterdam a to be a place of contrasts and very different, "the Venice of the North". It is quite something, a blended mix of sin city, unique (& in some case very crooked) buildings, some very beautiful canals and countryside and of course very mad crazy ...
