... The apartment owner was a black salsa instructor and the apartment itself was pretty standard with a kitchen a bedroom and a living area with mattresses in it. We immediately noticed a lack of beds but we didn't want to argue and tell him there was 8 of us in case he tried to charge us more. Having spent the night gaining a true Parisian experience - chilling out with a plastic bottle of orange wine - we caught 3 hours sleep before madly rushing around to check out. ... friends. Today they took us to a nearby city where there was a cheese market. Really another nice city. All in all it feels very comfortable here with people I know so well - quite a change! I am so looking forward to spending hte next 2 and a half weeks with my crazy family.

PS things you should know: Amsterdam has more bikes than people. They eat so much cheese here. The people are ridiculously tall. Oh and I love it here :)
