During the last walking tour, our guide gave us a cool map "USE-IT". On it was a walk around the more touristy areas that a lot of walking tours won't do because they get a bit crowded, or are a bit far away. We walked through some beautiful gardens, saw some lovely buildings. Prague is just gorgeous.
Also on the map was a recommendation to a suburb Krymska as "the heart of alternative culture" in Prague. ...
