... which are adjacent to Elne's cathedral. These date from the Romanesque period and were built using blue veined marble from the nearby town of Ceret. They're still in good condition and reminded me of the cloisters of the Franciscan Monastery in Dubrovnik which date from the same period I think. Both very pretty and peaceful anyway.
John suggested I walk down the ramp near the cathedral square and turn right to find a nice little bar, which I did. It's called Le Rallye and I ...

Well, the platform that the new train was on was all the way to the opposite side... of course!!! So there I went again hauling all my bags down across and up again, plus isn't easy getting all the baggage on the train, either. Some of trains have 2 to 3 steps. Well, I finally got all my stuff on and off we went to my next stop.
... I had an eerie silence that summed up the way we felt. Soon it was back to just us and the road home…. To grow up. Because Perpignan is in the Catalan region of France there's an interesting mix of French and Spanish cultures, plus they've created their own unique ...

The Theater museum and jewellery museums were fabulous! So fabulous that I went back to see the jewels again the next day - somehow the sparkly diamonds and precious jewels got to me!! Fabulous!!
As always the food was fantastic - fish soup and salmon the highlights.
