... in, the hotel couldn't organise a room for me, so according to paperwork I wasn't there, but I stayed in a room with my Australian mate, Dominic. We then just chilled out in exchange student fashion for the rest of the day.

Good morning from the courtyard of our little pension in the old stone city of Kaleici in Antalya. This 3000 year old walled city of Kaleici overlooks the cutest little harbour imaginable and must be the quaintest place i have ever been to! Breakfast at our hotel was fabulous... everything Turkish plus French toast and omelets. Leaving Konya we headed to the highway which took us through the Taurus Mountains -- very, very steep, many switchbacks close together, 7000 feet at the top with still some snow.
