I can’t remember the name of the mountain we were on, but it has caves you can walk through, and a little church on the side of the mountain using one of the caves, pretty cool! We came back down on the gondola and ate sandwiches while watching the cows with their bells.. Very relaxing. Then on the way home we stopped by an Appenzeller cheese factory where ...

Bregenz, Austrian Alps, Austria dirtyweekenders... weren't too interested so they took Lincoln (who couldn't go with us) and we went to have a look. It was a rewarding visit. It is amazing to think how long ago some of those books and transcripts were written, and how well cared for they must be to remain in excellent condition. The library itself is breathtaking, with leather bound books lining the shelves, large windows (no doubt filtered), elaborate woodwork and staircases, and a muraled ceiling ...

Friedrichshafen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany eskimosarah... Gottlieben, Switzerland. One of Rick's business associates had made reservations for us at the Hotel Drachenburg. Quite a nice place! Our room seemed very French with a bidet and a chaise lounge. We had lunch there and had dinner with Helmut. I don't have the name of the restaurant, but we had possibly the best poached salmon ever!!
