We returned to Montefalco to watch the finale, an event which had 4 teams running with a bull around a running track. This is serious business as the photos show (well the ones that are in focus anyway!).

... green and even at the edge, the bottom cannot be seen. It has been poetically described as 'a veil of water on a meadow’. I’m not sure about that but it is delightful nonetheless, as are the many towns and castles that surround it. There are also fields of sunflowers which look wonderful as they follow the sun. We stopped at Passignano sul Trasimeno for lunch and at Faliero for coffee, enjoying the beautiful day and scenery in front of us.
