    ... check in, just time to dump our bags & off we went for a walk around the town we went to a museum, a shrine, the Takayama festival float exhibition hall, we then went to the old part of town. We had a beautiful tea not far from there. When we got back from tea we had another spa, getting used to it (in the nude) still lots of laughs. It's now 9.00 and ready for bed.     ... for 8 months. Not ready for the night to end, the boys convinced Luke to bring us to a bar nearby.
    Luke was obviously a regular here because all the bartenders knew him and came right over to help us out. Of course, the guys wanted some Japanese whiskey so the bartender hooked them up with some really good stuff. I enjoyed my little cocktail while they raved about the whiskeys they were trying.     ... queue so Chris could not get on! Problems with bottom pinching here so they've introduced women only carriages. Then two more trains and a 20 min taxi ride.     ... its stealing, but the one it took was left as it was partly broken, but it keeps me dry.
    The rest of the day is spent wandering the underground malls and shops before heading back to get my luggage.
    I take the subway out to Issha, where my apartment for the next 3 nights is located. Its a 20 minute ride, and yes its still raining. I meet my host and he takes me to the apartment, which is ok. Will be a little bit on the noisy side as its close to a main road.
