First Day of School
... is funny is how everything is smaller here. The oven, beds, shower, even the slices of bread in a loaf are about the size of my palm. I'm about to go walk around so shops and then I'm meeting a large group of people. We are going to hike to Piazzale Michelangelo. There is a beautiful view of all of Florence from up there. I'm very excited!

Double Dip
... Zuppa, Ribbilto. Which is a bean and vegetable soup with bread in it. It was very hearty and tasty. Nice dinner to end our Tuscany adventure.
Since it was our last night in Tuscany, it was time to reflect and meditate on our wonderful 10 days spent in this beautiful countryside. It definitely was a highlight of our trip.
I will miss the beautiful Villa, the striking countryside, and tranquility it gave us.

The return to Venice and Travels to Florence, Italy
Venice came into view from our cruise ship at 5:30 AM. Sitting on the 9th floor observation deck, with camera in hand, some pristine photos of Venice were free for the taking. You need not to visit the "Leaning Tower of Pisa" to see plenty of leaning towers from the vantage point of the 9th deck of our ship. At least 6 bell towers were leaning considerably. ...
