... boord konden. Hadden we nog minstens 2 uur kunnen blijven liggen. We waren nog niet op onze kamer of de boot was al vertrokken. Het was schitterend weer dus op het achterdek nog even afscheid genomen van het laatste stukje IJsland en vervolgens naar de kamer waar we de klokken weer 1 uur vooruit konden zetten. We arrived at 10pm still broad day light. We spent three days exploring the colorful fishing villages. The Islands are just beautiful. Green mountains, fjords, lakes, rivers, seabirds and sheep (really a lot of sheep). The Islands are connected by bridges, sea tunnels and ferries. What a beautiful place. We loved it.

... down the block so we managed to find a seat in the local tavern and sip a local beer. Interesting (to me anyway), the locals have their own language called Faroese (something like that), but they speak impeccable english.
After departure and back at work, the internet has gone down and we're heading into a storm. Maybe the perfect storm :-)
