De noordkust met z'n palmen en nog bloeiende bourgainvillia en die mooie oceaan.

Ferrol, de wekker loopt om 6.00 af. Inpakken en om 7 uur ontbijten, daarna in het donker naar het station. Ik wil er op tijd zijn om dat ik niet zeker weet dat de fietsen zomaar mee mogen. Maar alles loopt voorspoedig. Kaartjes kopen en de bevestiging krijgen dat de fietsen mee mogen. Netjes wordt er een hekje voor ons geopend omdat je normaal door een draaipoortje moet. DE trein, het is een smalspoortype, een soort metrowagon, komt aanrijden ...

We've had wonderful weather, and it continues warm and sunny, as we drive north through Picos to the coast. Encountered a Bike race, twice, and had to pull over to let it through and watch.
We found a Golf course with good deal on for Monday so decided against a plan to head into Santander and explored nearby. Santillana de Mar, a very old town and then back to Comillas to overnight.

... apparently this kid was perfect). I couldn't believe she bought me a going away presant. How unbelieveably sweet! I almost teared up just thinking about it. She told me I had to keep in touch through skype and I told her I would love to because I need to keep up on my Spanish!

... planning (in fact I was just thinking of how I could make it possible to study abroad another time before graduating and without killing my bank account), it's that I know that what is meant to be will be and all of my efforts do not need to be placed in stressing out over things I cannot change. I will probably spend most of this semester doing homework and studying even with this revelation, but I won't be heartbroken if I happen to get a BA instead of an A in calc 2 ...
