    ... which is sad. Driving into Malaga the navigator got lost, again. But we made it in the end to a very standard hotel without any character or atmosphere, we were both disappointed. Don't get me wrong, it is nice, pool, robe slippers etc., but we have been staying in some amazing places and a normal hotel is a bit......blah. We went for a walk to the beach, honestly don't bother ...

    ... On the walk to the beach we saw an old lady fall in the street. We helped her out of the street and a local kid eventually helped her walk home. The beach was gross and there were no waves, so Kelly and I drank at the beach bar that serves gummy bears and popcorn as tapas. For dinner we ate at Noviembre, a casual organic restaurant. We each had burgers and shared carrot cake and Oreo cheesecake. Would highly recommend this ...

    Hola, I am now in Torre del Mar still on the Mediterranean. This is a larger very Spanish town that really doesn't have much to offer in the way of charm. It has the great ocean side walkway but beyond that it looks like any old "charming" buildings were replaced by blocky apartment buildings.     ... a bit different from the usual Wycombe Rye Lido laps. Having said that we are both now very excited about the imminent summer season opening of the pool in the village.


    I’m not sure why a village this size needs it’s own swimming pool but we’re happy to take advantage of it and hopefully this will open up next week. Adios!
