... and quiet. As if a lovely day couldn't get any better we sat outside our B&B Accommodation, showered and smelling slightly less of rotten egg. A chilled wine in hand, a decent view of the sunset and watching the stars come out it seemed the 100's of Italian bathers were a world away. There are many families and grandparents on this excursion - we are impressed by the older folks navigating the ...

... So, I rocked into the ferry office and applied some Aussie charm, lots of fact almost vomit-inducing amounts of it, and finally convinced them that they should issue another ticket since it wasn't my fault that I cant read Italian to check the booking... Fortunately, I had written "Thursday 10.45" on the front of the booking sheet, and that seemed to sway the day for us.

... was beautiful. Lit a candle for my mom and dad - which I've been doing at each church. Met Mark, Judy and Colette in Casciano (the small town nearest our villa) for dinner. The restaurant didn't open till 19:30 though so we bought some playing cards and went to a bar to drink and play hearts. Then on to dinner which was really good ...
