Rodovia BA 099 Km 76 Linha Verde Costa Do Sauipe, State of Bahia, Brazil, 464-1000
Arembepe, Brazil asci... to be seen, maybe he isn't and early riser! But it still didn't take from that view, that memory, that scene I will always remember happening below me! Then I passed out from exhaustion! I awoke in Salvador and got the first bus out of there to Praia De Forte, a glorious little town with sand for streets, wooden buildings, a quite chilled atmosphere and circled by a beautiful clean sandy beach lapped by green waters, dotted with palm trees and colorful old wooden fishing ...
Praia do Forte, State of Bahia, Brazil mrsplaying_dead... th rope. Completely in my element now it was like doing a group ´Nightbush city limits´ with a group of similarly crazy people with better music in an amazing atmosphere. I almost got kicked out for not having the t-shirt but instead, they just gave me a shirt free. Next thing I know, cute boy and friends are dancing beside me, I act all surprised of course and all is good. His friends eventually get kicked out (no shirts) but I manage to save cute boy from the same fate by ...
Praia do Forte, Brazil rebecca.rose... o ano inteiro.
Guarajuba, Brazil renard... some good pics were well worth it. Also attempted several times to get to Fonte De Ceu, a waterfall on the island, not signposted and the maps of the island are not v acurate... so after many trudgings to dead ends, or random beaches we hired a young local whipper snapper to guide us through the forest to the falls, well worth the 6 reais I tell you! He powerd up there, we struggles in the million percent humidity up the hills etc but made ...
Morro De Saó Paulo, Ilha de Tinhare, Brazil jillsy... brazilian bodies ... and we are drank and writing in this blog right now!!! GORGEOUS. Anyway, the best thing you can have during traveling is to enjoy knowing new people, regardless to have fiesta or not. The night was absolutely fantastic (and we drank caipiroska with kiwy). Muchos besos y que la vida os vaya estupendamente. Si decidis venir a Madrid, sereis muy bien recibidos y os montaremos un plan estupendo con viaje a Ibiza incluido. Va en serio la invitaci ...
Salvador de bahía, Brazil perez_r... there, and although you are taken under the wing of the locals upon arrival, the only thing that got us moving on was the ever increasing threat of the winter rollers, an unfriendly swell that comes rolling into the bay signaling the close of the season for yachts. Ascension Island From St. Helena our next port of call was Ascension Island, the lesser known sister island to St. Helena that boasts much the same treasures and more. White beaches, aeroplanes and runways, an 18 ...
Salvador, Brazil sparrow07... one dollar - ice cold! After about 3 hours we become quite out of breath, feet hurt, crowd is closing in and we are being knocked about. We are ready for bed, although our Brazilian friends have only just started the party! 8 strenuous hours later we find ourselves slowly moping home, thank god and NEVER AGAIN...until we remember we have paid for our second night already. Now we understand the importance of energetic food and sleep before Carnivale!
Salvador, Brazil cosbo... a more family atmosphere than the other circuits, as well as some great bay views, massive old colonial buildings, cobbled streets, and plenty of tourist shops and food-by-the-kilo eateries. The other two circuits were in a central area called "Campo Grande" and a beach-side area called "Barra". Saw the Campo Grande circuit one night, but it had a much less happy, more aggressive, busier, heavier atmosphere, and wasn´t nearly as fun as the other two. The Barra circuit was the ...
Salvador, Brazil tcorreaDay two...So Friday night of Carnval was our first night to go out with the Bloco Olodum. After much getting ready time and a trip to a local seamstress to attempt to make something out of the potato-sack that was given to us to wear, we finally made it to the Pelourinho where the Bloco would go out that night. The "schedule," a word that is rarely used or followed in Brasil, said that the Bloco would begin at 9pm, which in ...
