The next day got up and had another amazing meal in the hotel. Went to pay the bill and it was way more then I thought it was going to be, I made some kind of concern and the took $20 off the bill so in the end I paid $120 for a great night with 2 great meals plus a bath. Off to try and catch the 9.45 train to Nikko I have 15 minutes. If I get it I get it. Started taking photos on the way to the station. Get see the train pulling in and I am at least 5 minutes walk away so I ...

caught the early train 10am up to the Nikko area. went to KInugawa first to do a fairly tourist thing where I went down the rapids in a traditional Japanese boat. I still had no where t stay the night and it was looking ...

Not a trip for those easily affected by motion sickness...jeez. Once up top we had some pretty good ramen and then went off to view an incredibly beautiful ...

... century harpsichord or piano forte. Go here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JX8Og4il c8M to listen. It sort of sounded like a stage entrance to She Stoops to Conquer.

Saitama Super Arena: Home of many K-1 kickboxing matches, Pride Fighting and I think even the UFC has used Saitama. Its pretty cool looking even at 200 mph.

A sign for a company called, "Moon Bat" : That is all.

Sometimes, you just have to get away from it all. In this case, "all" was understood as "Tokyo and small children"; three friends, who also work with the preschool set, and I planned an overnight trip to Tochigi to indulge in onsens, stuff ourselves full to bursting, and take silly pictures of each other.

Kinugawa Onsen is a hot spring resort town not to far away from Nikko. We decided to stay there because it had more hotels that met all ...
