The snow monkeys were amazing! They have no fear of tourists, despite insinuations of their ferociousness. You can walk right up to many of them without them scampering away. We were surprised by how many baby monkeys there were — dozens! Although we were only in their area for about an hour, we witnessed many moments, including one of the older monkeys holding a younger one for warmth, several of the younger monkeys playing together, all ...

... hard to explore the temple area, so after watching some of the ceremonies we leave and will come back tomorrow.
The rain holds out for the procession, but it starts to drizzle as we leave the temple. Cant complain as we have been really lucky with the weather.

... finally got down to the bottom and re-charged in a really cool vegan restaurant called Roots. We said goodbye to Adam and then off for a final afternoon of family skiing and the kids were amazing. Sinead also managed the Olympic downhill section and the by the time Sinead gave up with 30 mins after a couple of nasty falls, the kids carried on with about 5 back to runs. ...

... and it was just great to be up in the clean cool air – so different from Bangkok. We went down to the bottom of the mountain for lunch and met the kids in the canteen, laughing with the instructor. Great to see them so confident.
