As Jess got the mini chocolate bars out she realised that she had not brought the lunch that she had made and she had left it in the fridge in Sven. This was slightly annoying and we had to try and decide how to amend our plans and decided that we would eat the snacks we had and have a late lunch after our ride. It was also at this point that I realised that Jess had not packed a mini chocolate bar for me ...

We are off to Florence with a quick stop at the leaning tower of Pisa on the way. And it turns out that Kim and Kayne will be having their wedding while we are there. This morning I had to finish the last of my cake for breakfast -
having admitted that we threaten to make our CS eat any left-over
pavlova for breakfast. Then off to take the TGV - the fast train to
Paris. One last surprise - Claudia presented us with a pottle of
strawberries for a morning snack. The surprise was that there were
still some left to give us!
