If you have kids, you need to teach them about these amazing dudes called Capybaras. Here in Brazil they are wild and hang out at the local park/lake only a short walk from the city center. ... the tables were taken, this really nice group of locals invited me to sit with them.... they were celebrating a birthday! This encounter then changed everything, after cake eating and beer drinking the start of a great friendship began. So this group kind of adopted me, I've been to BBQs, parties, nightclubs and games with these guys.

... achieved nothing more than lunch and a short walk around. Lunch was interesting though - thought we were getting competent here and ordered burgers and chips or so we thought. We were presented with some kind of chicken stuffed into a potato. Was very nice though.

And that´s it - were done in Curitiba. Iguaçu Falls tomorrow - just have to survive the 10 hour bus!

... Either way our tour guides plan was to go to the Pantanal in Brazil for our allocated 2 nights then return to this hell hole to legalise our passports - and be on our merry way. We loved Plan B – because that meant a van with air-con and cold beer to cool us down!
