We caught up with Andrew and Clive from Sydney and then walked from the hotel down to Arena da Baxiada (10 min walk).  It seemed like all the Spainish had already flown home and there was plenty of Aussie support and the locals were blending with their yellow and green Brazil colours.  Being a dead rubber, most of the locals were supporting the underdogs (i.e. s).  Like the Arena da Pantanal in Cuiaba, ...

Now just chilling in the hammock for a few hours before horse riding, it's too hot to do much else, quite like being cut off from everyone for a bit. Ben thinking about the tattoo I want it might happen in Rio, we shall see.

On our second day we narrowly avoided missing our 9am bus to the town of Morretes about an hour and a half away. The main reason for going here was actually to catch the scenic train back, so after a walk around the town and a lunch of the local Barreado - a meaty stew - we sat down in our economy class coach ready for the journey back to Curitiba.
