Fireworks all night but actually woken by noisy neighbour snoring!
Had to put on fan for white noise and then a blanket!

Hence the slow start – wasn’t at ferrorodoviaria until gone
10pm only to find there wasn’t a bus to Morretes until midday. Booked my train
ticket back for 3pm and killed the rest of the time on a coffee and a stroll

... greeting by kissing on the cheek. It took a few times to get used to meeting strangers this way but it’s more natural now. Still get confused about when to do it though.

  • Language- Durr. For anyone’s reference, Portuguese not Spanish.
