    ... we had a drink at the bar and took our laptop down there where it works a lot better!! Tonight we walked down to what seems like a local social club. It was full of Austrians and they seem to be enjoying themselves. The meal was okay – I had fish but as you can tell it wasn’t outstanding. Doesn’t matter. Back in the room for planning for tomorrow and it doesn’t seem that noisy after all thank goodness.

    ... as large as the first gondola. We arrived at the Gipfelwelt 3000 named that because we were at 3000 meters in elevation.

    Our first stop at Gipfelwelt was the Top of Salzburg a panoramic platform, elevation 3029 meters or 9,940' with breathtaking views of the Valley, the Zeller See and an endless chain of summits of the central Alps.     ... octagonal room with the large fire place where Hitler was pictured meeting with his senior command. We wandered around the rooms and went outside, but it had really started raining. We waited it out and fortunately, the rain stopped after fifteen or so minutes and the fog lifted somewhat to reveal a beautiful view of the valley below and all the way to Salzburg.

    ... of old tractors at the side of the road and on the road. We stopped at Hofer (Aldi) grocery store for a few things at the south end of Zell am See. We missed the turn off and got on the bypass again having to go north of the city and then back south.

    When we got back we had a little down time before going to supper at the Sports Stuberel. When we got back we talked about what to do tomorrow if/when it rains and blogged and went to bed.
