May 28th & 29th - Both days we went into the City first day by the Metro, a 24hr ticket was relatively inexpensive allthough we only used it one way as we ended up walking back, and day 2 we went by bike, cycling was fairly easy around the city with cycle lanes ...

... across the Liberty bridge. Said goodbye to our Segway guide, and headed to St. Stephen's cathedral to meet our afternoon tour. Dumb decision, taking back to back tours. Met up with Jim and Mary, Tom and Donna, and started the walking tour. Went in St Stephen's and started up to the dome. Jim opted out. SMART!! We rode the elevator up 3 floors, then needed to walk up one floor. About 150 steps later we were at ...

... toothbrushes so we could do our teeth either at the bus stop or whenever we got the chance. A quick run to the bus stop and we got on our bus, very pleased it had air conditioning and we even blogged a student discount so cost us no more than £1.50 each for our journey.. Bargain!! We got into the city about midday and set about seeing as many of the sights we could, Turns out Budapest is a really really nice place, our favourite so far, we did a lot ...
