... are going to be hefty like in France.

We finally arrived at our hotel, in quite a non descript area about 22km away from Como. It was hard to find anything decent nearby at a reasonable price, and even then this hotel was over our budget. Good thing though is it has a nice pool :)

Thank you for all your comments about the blog but we haven't quite finished yet! Still about 24 hours before we'll be on our doorsteps, a whole city still to explore and at least one more blog post! ... riding experience in the Pyrenees would compare to the great time we had in Annecy but it turned out that the Pyrenees were even better! Each climb we rode had something new to offer. We reached Como at about 5pm, and checked into our hotel.
