... we were fortunate to visit when the tourists kept away. We strolled around and took a few pics including the canal and windmill, dodging the cyclists! Ironically, given the facilities for safe, flat cycling we haven't used ours. Hey, it's no weirder than a naked child called Mannekin Pis urinating exuberantly into the air becoming the symbol of Brussels. All in all, the only thing that could have improved our visit was if, while wandering the suburbs of Brussels in search of a train station, we had found a hat in the ditch with a picture of a donkey drinking moonshine.

... straight away – it was delicious, like a block of guylian mmm… Since it was such a nice day I decided to go for a wander and went towards the outskirts of the town where there were some big Belgium windmills and nice green grassy areas. I did what quite afew others were doing and lay down in the sun on the grass below the windmills. It was so nice that I fell asleep ...
