Headed for Ypres in Belgium. Been here before, and its still a nice place. Although firmly in Belgium, english is spoken everywhere, by everyone. Something to do with the gratitude for the lives lost during WW1. This is Flanders.

... It is very beautiful with cobbled stone streets and canals. Lots of really great places to eat, drink beer, and shop. I was most impressed by the number of chocolate shops! There are about 50 chocolatiers selling the most amazing and creative chocolate that I have ever seen. We didn't waste any time sampling a few stores and then headed to try some local brews. Beer is serious here and there are over 300 Belgian beers to choose from! We found a spot ...

... decided not to climb the bell tower in the Market Square because it was around 200 feet. I am due to climb Big Ben in London on Tuesday so figured I would give my legs a break. BUT the brewery tour was up and down stairs and ladders and I think we climbed almost 200 stairs in that tour. how droll. Good thing we had nixed the tower.

Hubby still loves the brewery tours but there is not much about them now that we do not already ...

I was a sunny Sunday atlast so I decided to travel to the sea side and enjoy the Atlantic ocean.I went by train to Ostend the biggest belgian city on the sea coast . After i visited De haan. With
the 5 EURO Tram I went till the Knocke the lux city of the west flandres and
took the train back home
