Hotel Therapia Crikvenica

... she is the cuttest little baby ever well done.

So got to Opatia and had to find the hotel we got a really good deal on the hotel paying only 60 euro a night and you should see how amazing it is. I cant believe it, it was build in the 1900s and it really is a palace with huge big marble pillars and chandeliers it is so grande. Got to the room and it was as big as what our old appartment was lol with huge windows and a ...

... are still in the north and onto our second Island. Weather is superb and all the masses of tourists have gone home - so great pace..something about island life.

We have been eating loads of seafood but Jarrad is yet to catch us a fish - on the list of things to do!

Sharm and Jarrad

... all so we caught the bus to Krk Town and found a sheltered spot to swim there. We then found a note in our guide book about a wind called The Bura, and you can tell its coming when white clouds form over the mountains, which they had. It can get so strong it can tip cars over! The next morning it was worse so we gave up and headed inland..... after getting the shock of our lives with the campsite bill... so expensive!!!!

... les poissons et éviter les piqûres d'oursins. Le paysage côtier est magnifique et l'eau limpide. Nous répèterons l'opération 1h30 de marche plus loin, puis sur le chemin du retour.

Cette journée nous a ouvert l'appétit : dîner dans une "spaghetteria" sur le port accompagné d'un succulent vin blanc et retour à la chambre pour une bonne nuit.

... toujours voir la chambre avant d'accepter, les tarifs sont peut-être moins élevés que ceux pratiqués par les agences de location mais peuvent réserver des surprises!

2ème conseil : préférer les agences de location car les chambres sont classées en étoiles. Vous pouvez également vous fier aux panneaux accrochés aux façades des maisons. Si vous êtes à pieds, les catalogues proposés ...

Enfin le train arrive en Croatie! Malgré le retard, nous ne regrettons pas ce trajet à travers la Slovénie car les paysages étaient superbes, naturels et verdoyants. Un bon coin pour faire de la randonnée.

Pour une raison pratique (prendre le bus pour l'île de Cres au plus vite), nous décidons de ne pas descendre au terminus (Rijeka) mais à l'arrêt Opatija-Matulji ...

Great little place to relax, with plenty of beaches (topless, nude or otherwise), hiking, boating and more. Heavily touristed by northern Europeans, with lots and lots of skin on the beaches and boats, and a very interesting medieval town made for wandering tourists.

... next to me who talked incessantly in his sleep & refused to move to one of the many empty double seats? Not my idea of 1am fun. So I decided to put my ***** hat on & at the next lengthy stop (which occurred far too frequently!!) he got off for a while, I laid on the 2 seats, jammed my headphones in & faked some sleep. Once the bus started moving again & he’d sat elsewhere I managed to get some real sleep before we got to Split :)

... in my small toe by Roxy the thorn was out and I was all good. (I know none of you feel sorry for me anyway :-P) But the HIGHLIGHT of the day was parasailing (hanging in a parachute and being pulled by the speed boat) (see photos). That was soooo cool.
