Hotel in need of renovation, but great location

You could not ask for a better-located hotel in Prizren. However, you could certainly ask for a few other improvements - like light in the bathroom and perhaps more soundproofing between rooms! But this is one of the best hotels in the city, so perhaps the demand is so great that they don't want to stop operating long enough to fix what ails the place. I found the staff responsive whenever there was a problem (and there were a few). I can live with the problems for one night, especially considering the great location.

Located in southwestern Kosovo and with about 180,000
people, Prizren is the country’s second largest city but also its most historic
and interesting. Back when most of the Balkans were the territory of the
Ottoman Turks Prizren was the most significant Albanian city and the center of
an early independence movement in the 1870s and 1880s. At that time it was the
center of the Prizren League seeking an independent Albania. The reconstruction

... the rubbish floating on it as locals still believe the best way of disposal is to send all your garbage to the sea. For many years two different types of ferries operated on the lake: larger ones capable of carrying cars and lorries and a smaller passenger ferry, which was, curiously, transformed from an old bus.

We were looking forward to taking the 3-hour ferry once again, on board the bus. To my mild ...

First on today's agenda is an apology for being totally MIA for the past thousand weeks. Would you believe me if I said its been crazy busy? Do because its totally utterly true!

Now, let me begin with a list of excuses:
          1. I was having a too great time to actually write anything.
          2. My boyfriend came over from Aus.
          3. My laptop has died and is totally unsalvagable by a person of my technological abilities (writting this on an ipod, forgive the spelling!)
