We awoke late this morning still a little tired after our late arrival last night. I was just able to sync yesterday's post. Our hotel is an old Venetian building that has been beautifully renovated. ... before getting to the final section of the gorge. The last 5km wove back and forth across the mostly dry river bed as the gorge narrowed. The steep walls were amazing and we could see why most of the injuries on the trail comes from people not watching where they were walking and tripping along the way.
