      ... matter, especially since I pictured my childhood pet Patches, but I dove into the leg anyways.  What I will say is the sweet white wine and rosemary sauce was amazing.  The rabbit was tasty also - not gamey at all.  At dinner I met a couple from Switzerland and we chatted a bit.       ... on the trail by 7:30. It was a long 6 hr and hot trek. But the experience was worth it. It was a good chance to see Crete's natural side. We were glad to have a cold beer, have a swim in the ocean, and shower in a village hotel room. The next day, we took a ferry to the next village. While we waited for the 6:30 bus back to Chania we walked to a beach and swam and slept. Pretty nice ! ...

      ... Another day took us to Aptera-an active archaeological site on the hillside above Chania (Hania, Xania). The day at Falarsana, was a gorgeous day at the beach body surfing in clear, clear warm waters and lounging under palapas on the dark blue lounge chars the tavernas set up on the beach to rent.
