    ... find, you only had to dig under the dried crusted layer of salt to get to the good stuff. It dried right away on your skin as the temp was already up to 33 degrees Celsius. Em thought it was great at first until it started drying and tightening on her face. We walked out into the bay to wash off the now dried mud. Our skin did feel smooth but I don't know about healed.     The drive from Plitvice was interesting and very beautiful. We drove through the city of Otocac where a lot of the fighting occurred in the 90's. The town still has a lot of visible signs of sniper holes in the buildings and some shelling damage. Em received a first hand lesson on some of the effects of war on a location.
