... city that you are really close to everything wherever you are. We dropped off our bags and headed to the Anne Frank House. We had meant to visit it when we were here four years ago, but the line was far too long. This time, we were there early enough and only waited 15 minutes. The museum was very touching and does a tremendous job of using audio and visual elements to really make you feel like you were there with the family.
... lines - and i thank the map i had with ideas on what to do for taking me there! It was another lake area, with very different architecture than that to the rest of Amsterdam - like everything had been re-built in the 80's, with an idea that it was 'modern' - but more interesting than ugly i'd say!
Anyhoo, the park and lake was rather big, and easy to walk around - and so quiet that you forgot that you were actually in a part of ...

On Saturday we got up early and went to a big breakfast and did some more shopping. We brought our luggage with us since we had to check out of the hotel that day.
