We stopped for lunch after about 2 hours and thankfully the kid got out from behind the wheel and let dad drive for a bit. This happened to coincide with the start of the mountainous region, so we were glad of a much safer driver. ... mountains. Some of my favorite parts about road trips are passing by tiny little towns where the locals live. You see their tiny shabby homes that probably house 6 or so family members, often on its last legs. There may be a small mini mart and sometimes some street food stalls with food that looks amazing. I wish we could stop for some photos and a quick nibble to eat-I'm sure it'd be the best food I'd try. So we made it 5 hours later ...
Day 19, 20 Dalat
... where the viewing area is. We
decided to walk down instead of taking the roller coaster. The
waterfall was nice but there were a lot of tourists and it wasn't
very wild or natural. We relaxed there for a little bit and then got
back on our scooter and returned to Dalat.
