... my friend who had literally been running round to peoples houses yelled to me from across the street, "I've got one". I mustered up the last of my strength, waddled across the street and proceeded to ruin a poor Vietnamese families toilets. To repeat, there is no glamour in travelling.

That night we were getting the night bus to Hanoi. I took my imodium and emotionally prepared myself for the journey.
