... hat, so beloved of the people here. The one thing that is noticeably missing is the spontaneous smile of the Cambodians. Vietnamese are renowned for their reserve, but it still comes as minor shock when people give a curt nod or grunt when you hand them something, or take your money with a sharp toss of the head and nothing approaching a smile. We took a bus to Dalat from HCMC. 7hr sleeper bus with Phuong Trung company. Cost us $15USD per sleeper bed. I originally shared my bed with Avery but as the bus passengers got off along the way Avery was able to snag a bed to himself which was a nice break for me.

When we arrived at Dalat we were shuttled to ...

... 3...2...1 about 5 times I eventually did it and crawled out of the water never being so happy for something to be over!!! I am so pleased I did it as a few of the girls bottled it, however I can safely say that I did not enjoy one second of it and will definitely not be abseiling down any waterfalls in a monsoon any time soon!! We then had a 45 minute steep hike up to the top of the rainforest which was a huge workout and my legs are paying for not but ...
