          ... what is left will be preserved. However, there are signs to warn you not to visit on windy or wet days as great lumps of rock simply drop off and some are huge. There is a very large church at the base of the elevated castle and the inside does not match the out and is quite beautiful, we assume most of this splendour was paid for out of the tolls over the centuries.           ... a sheltered lagoon as we can see houses opposite and to the right linking this side to that, is a bridge. We had a bit a a walk at lunch time to get our barings, walking by hundreds of boats (the marina holds 1,600). We came to a nice little bar to get out of the wind, although only a breeze compared to the Lizard.           Today started with a great sleep in until 9am.

          I then went for a run, came home had breakfast and headed to La Poste to collect a parcel from Book Depository but it hadn't arrived yet. The lady said to come back at 11am. So we returned and it was shutting but she had waited for us. So we got 3 new books to read.

          ... but we had musician or two providing good music for the rest of the night, with most of the singing in English and probably with an American accent. The food was okay and the meal and 5 drinks cost 65 euro.
