This morning we didn't go for a run because it was a rest day. We still went down to get the baguettes. We also got 4 pain au chocolat.

Then when we got back we had a delicious breakfast of baguettes with jam, pain au chocolats and cereal.

We got bored so we started to do some homework, at lunchtime we went for a bike ride ...

Had a long lie on the beach - Treas spent the whole day, and we had a couple of beers and lunch from the very handy bar-restaurant located literally on the beach, who also supply their patrons with fine beach-lounges and 'brollies. "Garçon....une autre biere, s'-Il-vous-plait"... Ahhhh.....Cheers! I ...

... Paul's favourite composer, Giacomo Puccini was born in Lucca although we didn't know that until we arrived there. The house he was born in and spent his childhood until he moved to Milan at the age of 22 is now a museum. Puccini was the 5th child and the only son from a musical family tree. At the time, sons were only permitted to make a career out of music. Puccini worked as an organist in the nearby church of San Paolino (his father too) in which his first orchestral ...
