... Lawa Island for a 'relax and swim'. Having now been in South East Asia for a month, we know what happens around 2pm, and again we were not let down. We swam in the sea while it poured, this was novel but as the temperature was still 30+ it made little difference.

The ride home was fun, bumpy with a capital B whilst cruising at 30 knots.

Instead we floated on the choppy surface and I pretended to shark-attack mother as she used to do to me and my brother when we were little (apparently mother sharks sometimes appear in chlorinated gym pools). She's such a good teacher of reality. Back at the hotel that evening, we decided to hunt down some fresh fish at one of the local restaurants.
