Had another lovely day in paradise, not such a good day weather wise as mostly raining, but still beautiful. Then had to go into Customs Post to buy Road Tax permit for Switzerland. 10 days for $39 - not bad. Joined the motorway, and instantly, mountains! Back in VERTICAL country again! Could almost have ...

Today was going to be a riding day but due to traffic and the weather we really just travelled. The scenery was beautiful, majestic alps, mountain tunnels, avalanche tunnels which are only one sided, rolling green hills spotted with cows all sporting the latest in cow bells and fields full of wild flowers all in bloom. As we passed into Switzerland it was decided that we should eat Swiss chocolate as we went through - it is our international duty. We dutifully bought ...
