... showered us with love, and gave us great support when in need. We crossed the Rio Plata by ferry and are now in Uruguay. Starting in the small historical town of Colonia, we noticed a laid back feeling here that is different from the big cities in Argentina. ... Had a good look at Montevideo from the air and great views all the way into BA (such a huge city). I saw about 30 major ships scattered about in a waiting area in he middle of the river waiting to get into the passageway into BA port. Because the river/sea is relatively calm this is an ideal port area.
