... me fitted for the wet weather I left and joined the jam of traffic trying to get onto the motorway. After about 15 minutes of jams I finally got onto the motorway and thought it would be a nice leisurely journey into France. As usual I thought wrong and about ten minutes down the road here the traffic is at a standstill once again.

... snow capped mountains = check! Switzerland just oozed of class - I’ve never seen such a well maintained country! The grass was cut like a bowling green, and many of the houses had elaborate hanging baskets and window boxes dripping with flowers.

... Still, I was able to get a five-pack of Daim™ Milka™--aaaahhh, the pleasures of Kraft owning everything--for under 5 SFr (slightly more in USD, but less in euros), so I did like this place.

PS that Daim link is actually pretty interesting, I've just found. I've always thought Daim tasted a good deal like Heath, but it turns out that Heath just gave Daim the recipe.
