Grey Days
... is another matter.
We pay a visit to Aix-les-Bains which is a spa town that was frequented by Queen Victoria, sadly its past its best, especially on a grey day. On we go to Annecy, we wait in the car until the rain slows down and as we have come all this way we venture out in kagouls and sporting umbrellas. It is a beautiful town, by a lake but as night is descending we head for home.

It was the best of times and the worst of times
... br> Ce soir, Monsieur has booked a table at an isolated restaurant by the river about 4 kilometres away. Madame says that I can come as long as we eat outside away from the other the guests ( I wonder why!!).
