We awaken to a beautiful day, and after breakfast we retrieve the bikes from the magazzino, and make some final adjustments. I find I can tighten a few spokes in my rear wheel trueing it somewhat, to stop it scraping the brake pads. We bowl along across the Valle Umbria, monster hills with bare summits on either side. Washed down with an acceptable local red, all for E24 ...

We have one more night in Rome before our departure and then a night in Singapore prior to our last flight into Sydney and Canberra. It's been a wonderful trip but we are well and truly ready for ...

Monday Third day here and everything is as good as ever in Bali. Beautiful Balinese who can't do enough for you to the point of being embarrassing. The Jayakarta Hotel is an "old Bali" style hotel that has everything you need except a hair drier. No iron either but the laundry rates are so cheap you'd feel miserable taking work away from these wonderful people. After Italy we've decided to veg and we're succeeding very ...
