Well, we managed to get away at about 09:00 this morning and headed to St Peter's Square for the obligatory team photo in our Retinitus Pigmentosa charity cycling tops. Once we had done that we started the journey home.

The construction of the cathedral lasted about 3 centuries and is built in the Gothic style. Unusually, the brickwork behind the façade is layered black and white blocks and almost seems as if it should to belong to something else. ...

... the actual machine on Thursday. It poured down rain this morning, and the first time I open my umbrella it broke; so i was soaking wet. I bought a good umbrella, not from dollar general or walmart this time, so it should last me a good while. I am headed toward Bagnoregina, I believe it is spelt this way, which if you type Viterbo in google images it is one of the first pictures that comes up. I will take some pictures with my nice camera for the first time. ...
