Termas de Rio Hondo, Northern Argentina, Argentina javierferrinI spent one day in Termas de Rio Hondo, relaxing in the termal hot springs. I was camping right on the river and the campsite had it's own thermal pools, so it was good. It is funny, The town is on a river but the river is called Rio Dulce not Rio Hondo.

... weird feeling to walk around and see actual shops selling familiar things like electrical goods, cds and clothes and the like. I somehow managed to fight the urge to buy a toaster. It seems to be a very young city and has a good buzz about it - the streets were wedged between eight and nine every night as people wandered around the shops. The nightlife seemed fairly good there too and we were disappointed we didn ...
Salta, Argentina damiankeating... in had ALL burning. 2. Everything LOUD, Everywhere. No consideration for others and the silence they may need. Instance: NOW as the guy in the restaurant next door pipes out ****** dance music at 8am opening time. People on buses with their headphones on (if they have them) so loud that all can hear their death metal rock, cars and motorbikes with fired up exhausts, girl at the computer lab blasting her music through the speakers for all to hear, buses playing movies back ...
Salta, Argentina decker1... outfit, something I'd hauled for some 4000? (who knows, much more if you count the flight) miles now, and had not yet worn. And that afternoon, I promptly tip and fall over, about as graceful as a similar move I once made on my bike, while just standing and waiting for a signal to change. I fall, over. Hands don't hit the ground, they are too busy holding ****. And I'm not even doing anything else while walking, but there is a driveway in my path, smooth concrete with a ...
Salta, Argentina decker1... to just sit), finding some dinner, and going to bed (I think one of the beds there was possessed, I don't usually think weird things like this, but I had significant problems with it both times I tried sleeping in it, horrible terrible terrible dreams and forgetting to breath, and then I switched beds, and no more problems). 3 days were passed and were not much different, maybe wandering the city a bit, either walking the steps up my quiet hill or ...
Salta, Argentina decker1... down hill was difficult to keep a hold of the handle bars as your arms and body vibrated due to the roads surface. The ride back was effortless (with the exception of trying to stay on the bike) and great fun. Although the bike did feel like at any moment all the nuts and bolts would come undone like a comedy sketch where you'd be left cycling thin air. My second full day in Cafayate I signed up for the Quebrada de Cafaye tour. An ...
