A day of cold and hot
... to bottom by heavy snow and by the time I reach the summit the temp is a freezing -2 Celsius. The views from up here are amazing and certainly worth coming all this way for. Along the way there are ample viewpoints and parking bays for tourists but they are all still covered in snow and ice so no ways was I taking my bike in there. I simply had to park it at the edge of the road and hope that some speed freak in a car did not smash into it!!

As I approach the summit at 2284m I see a large sign saying "Restaurant ahead", yes I think, it’s time for another hot chocolate!! But as what seems the norm at this time of year in Switzerland the restaurant was closed and so no hot chocolate again;-((

What a journey
... no English but another lady helped out. Stayed zermez then off to pontresina to catch the bernina express railway line. Ok know we have seen wonderful parts but this is even better.
