    It probably sounds boring but we have really loved our sea days. There is lots to do on board if you feel like it. Or you can just relax. We've done a bit of both going to the gym (once!); playing trivia (once), having a jacuzzi or just reading and looking at the ocean.     Wow - I have to say that Italy still has my vote. Croatia is nice and I know lots of our friends rave about it and the whole Dalmatian coast but Italy has it in spades.     After another super breakfast at the Sicilian farm we farewelled Francesco, his two daughters and Mama.

    The two hour drive to our hotel on the Island of Ortygia (part of Syracuse) where we will be for the next three days, went well.     ... and the Sicilian "typical" wine is very very good. We visited the beautiful Baroque towns of Noto and Modica for day trips. We wandered through the marvellous fresh food markets. We swam in the Meditteranean sea below our condo on the rocks and little pebbly beach. The ocean was turquoise and clear, so beautiful even if a little rocky, and the weather was extremely hot and summery so it was so refreshing and cool.
