We got settled in, and Eldon and I walked to the cathedral. This church was originally a Greek Temple of Athena built in the 5th century B.C. Then later, during the Renaisance the cathedral was constructed maintaining the temple columns in tact. There was also a great Medieval influence left here. It was spectacular to see. We sat across from the church and enjoyed a refreshing cold beer.
