    Sometime after departing our first port of call in Japan one of the teeth in my permanent bridge popped out. This particular tooth had been a concern that I voiced to my dentist in Port Angeles, a couple of days before our departure. He did not think there would be a problem as it looked like some of the enamel was "de-laminating", and that in order to rectify the situation, the entire bridge would have to be replaced.
