... is along the top of the dam wall.

Onwards I head up this great pass and I am in my element with all the great
scenery but nothing was to prepare me for what I was soon to see on the other
side of this pass.

I arrived at the summit of Grimsel and there are loads of bikers wandering
around and a number of restaurants for coffee and food but as I was running
late and still wanted to get back to my hotel for a rest I got going quickly.

... Switzerland. By the time we got to Luzern everything was in German and they spoke German and the signs often weren't in any other language, not even French. In Geneva I grabbed two small baguettes with cheese and tomato, two brioche, a block of chocolate and a bottle of water, just over $40 Australian. Still prices are always inflated at train stations.

... A81 south out of Stuttgart... There were road works at the interchange, but we followed the detour and everything looked great. Not far now.

The road kept going and going. Exits were passing by, the road signs did not make sense, the sky turned black, very black, We kept checking... yes we were on the A81.
