Day 3 - cog wheel train and a small mountain

... sites. Other than a super relaxing day, it was super sites day. As my Dad would have said, WOW! The views from the top of this mountain were simply amazing.

We reversed our route back to our hotel to walk around and take in some more of the city. Bill wanted to hit the casino for a poker chip, which turned out to be the saddest casino and chip ever.

The pictures speak for themselves from this lovely day in Switzerland.

... country. Another place to put on your bucket list. On the first day we drank some Swiss beer, walked around the city and looked at the historical sights. Soooo many rich people with fancy cars. On our second day in Switzerland we decided to go to Pilatus Kulm which is a 2132m high mountain. ... we took the packing tape Fritz gave us and taped down all the corky-type-plugs on the alcohol bottles then spent time rolling them in clothing and mostly packing and cushioning the suitcases to make sure everything would fit.

Seemed ok, all snug and cozy.

We didn't have any bubble wrap or plastic bags so if any of the 9 bottles of alcohol break, it will certainly be a smelly mess.

But everything fit !

Day 10 - The very old city of Luzern (Lucerne) is my favourite Swiss city as it one of the original settlement towns in Switzerland. ... of Mount Pilatus. Although we had taken many cable cars up to many mountains, I can honestly say that was the most beautiful cable car I had ever taken. We rose up slowly in our own little cable car, looking through the window at the little houses, rolling hills, and cows and sheep below.
