... None of us envied them. Although we weren't high off the ground as we went up we did get to a fair hight above lake level by the time we reached the second stop where we had to alight to change to a large cable car. This was at about the level where the green growth stopped on the mountain and it was just rocks with snow on it.

... instruments were played by the professionals and by our group (ricolah) hilarious. They also played a broom, a saw, bells, accordion and bottles with liquid in them. People danced around the restaurant in a conga line. So schmaltzy but much fun. Then we walked back to our hotel with beautiful city lights and onto the famous wood bridge covered in flowers. ... the street to pick up palm-sized new potatoes for dinner on Sunday. Hedwig wanted to do a fondue for our last night but since that's quite heavy and we were travelling the next day we opted for something lighter and new potatoes figured into it.
