Before dinner we descended to the 13th century wine cellar for a tasting of three local wines. It was quite an experience to be in the cave, with drops of water coming down from the ceiling. The owner of the hotel conducted the festivities with great pride and seriousness. We emerged from the cave, walked a little ways down the street and entered the restaurant where our dinner ...
We love this resort so much that we decided to stay another day and night. The photos of Pocatky were taken from a 16th. century bell tower. We were inside at 12 noon but the bells didn't ring. Thank goodness.

We both had massages today.
Left our Prague apartment this morning and drove to this fitness resort. Foot massage for 2 (that's people not feet) at 6 PM. Horseback riding at 10 AM, full body massage at 2 and Jacuzzi at 7:30 tomorrow. We should really be relaxed by Tuesday!!

... and did but if we had to choose it would be the colour, activity and friendliness of the Town Square. Everything was there and apart from a band playing doof, doof music on Day 1, the sounds were wonderful too. A band playing dixie, another playing local folk music and a variety of musicians showing the wares, including one 80+ bloke playing the violin. Haunting! And to top it all we found a great little street-side restaurant serving the most delicious ...
