... of the hotel Sj & Ruby were walking the opposite direction toward us which was a cool way to end the day. In the room Ali, Nats & I just layed on the floor for ages, buggared after 3 huge days. The shower that night was the nicest feeling ever! We were so happy we had an extra night at the hotel so we could relax the next day. Chloe and I got a massage and we headed to the Irish pub for some beers and to talk about everyone's last 3 ...

... thought this was a great idea! I went through the opening walking ten feet and I sunk to my ankles in mud :( It was gross but funny at the same time. The mud when in my shoes, in my socks on my jeans... I tried cleaning the shoes today but I think they are goners. There was no turning back, because it could not get worse, so I just ventured across. I made it back to the hostel without any further problems. The bar was still open so I had a night cap ...

... the road to the supermarket to stock up on cheeses and beer. Mum waved us off as we left Bergen Op Zoom, taking care not to run any cyclists over on the way out. We did a detour on the way back to Dunkirk via Oostende, the weather was roasting 34 degrees, it was a good job the cars climate control worked.
