... just one hangar but it was free so that's always good! After that we decided to go to the Salzburg Museum in the centre of the old town. That was kinda a let down after the castle and other historic things we've seen. The top and bottom floor were basically just art galleries and not really the kind I like.

We arrived in Werfenweng, Austria on the 22nd December. The place was a magic white winter wonderland. It had snowed the day before, so there was ground covering. We found the apartment which is a lovely Austrian house. We went and organised a ski lesson for the kids and got their gear. We went out for a lovely dinner and walked home in -4. The next day, we road the gondola up the mountain for the kids lesson. There was not much snow ...

... looking rural villages and farmlands. At several points it was barely paved and shrank down to a single lane for both directions as it snaked through the countryside and eventually the woods. Clearly it was a popular motorcycle trip being there were a disproportionate amount of riders out taking its curves. Eventually it lead us to a lake cut out of the side of a mountain and eventually a tunnel through that mountain ...
