    ... I too donned my jacket and was ready to go caving. We lined up to start our tour and the guides handed out lanterns that would be used inside. Unlike all the caves we have been to back home, there are no lights inside these caves. The only lights would come from our lanterns that had a naked flame and the tour guide who continuously lit magnesium strips to burn a bright white light that was lucky to last 60 seconds at a time.     ... sunning themselves and swimming in the alpine waters of lake Eben am Achensee. We found some parking and took a little walk to explore. Pete made reference that he would love to see this place from one of the surrounding alps, well I looked up and saw a gondola rising up.     ... a massage. I didn’t want to walk around the entire place naked! And seriously, there was no one (not one person!!!!) at that spa that I wanted to see naked. I am far beyond a prude, but this had me knocked back on my heels.

    I bolted back up to the room and reported to Wade that we may or may not have just booked a week at a nudist colony.

    Luckily - for all of us - the resort was not nudist - just European. I guess I am some unsophisticated ...

    This past Tuesday Andy's mom, Barb, and sister, Carly, came to visit us in Ulm! We were very excited to have them here, as we had some day trips planned for things we had not yet explored in Germany.
