Finals & Fun, Day 2! [Day 87]

1:10PM: Just finished my Intercultural Paper - ten minutes over my goal, not too bad! We keep hearing gunshot noises from our tower, and heard them last night, too - took us a little while to figure out it's the moat cracking. Warmer today, with some rain (stop washing away my pretty snow!).

Finals & Fun, Day 1! [Day 86]
... We saw them this morning, and they are perfect :) It's also extremely beautiful out right now - snow on the ground, mist in the air, sun in the sky. The moats look quite frozen over, too, but I highly doubt they're any stronger than yesterday.
11:25AM: Completed and emailed my history essay just in time for lunch, and only 3 words over the limit :D

Smells like Cologne
... the Americans a joking "boo" and went on our way. The long and short of the story is that Lisa and I were on the same train as the Berlin Bears hockey team, who were on their way to Bonn for a game tonight. And for those of you who are following all the Canadians in the NHL, that includes Daniel Briere and Dennis Pedersen. We were kind of freaking out. Well, It's a Winter Wonderland [Day 85]
... to snow-related music, and eating my Sinterklaas chocolate.
I have two more pieces of Belgian chocolate for myself and I'm using it as a bribe - can't eat them until my two essays are finished, and preferably all of my studying as well!

I Will Survive Finals! [Day 84]
... nose was pretty much always cold! There were three pools that you had to dash across freezing tiles to get to: the fun current pool with a waterfall; the basic large pool with some jets; and the hotter, station-based pool with a heated sitting area in the middle, beds with soft jets surrounding you, and a series of very strong jets at different heights. The water was a little salty and made my skin feel really soft and moisturized. Very glad I actually went this semester :)
