... Die Bilanz der zweiten Stunde: ein Junge auf einem Fahrrad und eine Ziege. Die dritte Stunde bricht an. Als ein paar Kinder kommen und sich mitten auf der Straße zum Schlafen hinlegen, verstehen wir: hier wird heute nichts mehr vorbeikommen. Auf der Haupt-Nord-Süd-Achse von Mozambique, der einzigen Straße des Landes, ist nullkommanull Verkehr. Nach 4 Stunden fährt der Pickup auf der Rückreise von Mueda nach Mocimboa an uns vorbei. Wir geben auf und besteigen ihn.

Tembe River Outpost
... eventful as we tangled the motor around a fishing boat net. Greg and Brandon jumped in to help loosen things under the boat, while sacrificing their feet on the sea urchins. We then had to wait for the tide to come up because our boat got hung up in the shallow waters. We then jumped in the "taxi" for the ride back to the motel & dinner.

... we couldn't understand much of it.....and it was so fun to see the friends we made at the youth service the night before. After church we ran straight to dinner....yes after eating our cake.....and had another amazing meal at a restaurant that is owned by Alice's friend, which is located mere feet from the Indian Ocean. We will be eating there every night ...
Maputo - not again
... down, there is nearly nothing to see or to do. Prices are quite high (visa for example), wanted to buy postcards (1 € each and a stamp would have been 2,20 €, thanks, but no thanks).
In my opinion – just my point of view – Maputo is not worth a visit, but maybe I just did not see the really interesting things. If I go back to Mocambique, then to the beaches....NOT MAPUTO...I expected ...
