Our ship had sailed up the East coast of Africa and had finally left South Africa and came to dock at Maputo, the capital of Mozambique. ... again at home!

On Thursday night we went for dinner at a local Italian restaurant with some trainees, followed by ice cream and then home! I stayed up until 3am working because I had asked for the Friday off, so had to finish all my work first!

The mere 3 hours sleep I got on Thursday night was completely worth it though... Claudia (a trainee from Portugal) and I went on an adventure to Bilene, a beach further up the coast. Although we were 2 non-Mozambican ...

... to leave early. She was going back to the intern house to get packed before it was dark. She was moving in with the girls into the MC house as they had extra space with the other guys in Russia. So now Sarah has left me as well. (It’s okay I still see her in the office, Hi Sarah!) Two weeks left in Africa and the goodbye process has started already.

In other news my phone bill for July has arrived, holy ****! Sigh….

    Also I’ve been thinking a lot ...
