Day 33 –

I again walked with my two new companions today. It was a much better hike as the weather was cooler. The first half of the walk was along a nice, wide, and flat trail that was perfect for hiking. We did the first 12km in a flash. We had hoped to be at Thiviers by noon, and we ended up arriving at 10:30am. Staying at lovely B&B in Dordogne Valley in France. Le Chevrefeuille owner and chef Ian took us to farmers market in nearby St Cyprien. We selected some lovely ingredients and then headed back to the kitchen to prepare lovely lunch. Just amazing! We then set off to visit a small village along the Vezere River called St Leon Vezere. Another one of the 'most beautiful villages' in France.
