... a very convenient cafe, so as this was the end of tour we decided it was cappuccino time. After lunch of 2 huge squares of pizza bought in the Boulangerie for about £3, which were really very nice and filled us up. We took Tess out for a stroll along the river and along some of the lane. Much to Phil's delight we were able to collect a bag full of walnuts along the way. By the time we got back the mist had eventually cleared. Time for tea and for Phil to dry his ...

Last day at Le Paradis. Karin and Ad, our Dutch friends leaving today to return to Holland having been at Le Paradis for three weeks. Final visit to Saint Genies market in the morning before returning to site. Had a final happy hour with Barbro, Terry, Jon and Gina.

Packing all completed ready for our not too far run to the Lot. Only about 40 miles and should take us about an hour and a half.

Another very hot day

Barbro andTerry asked us to join them for lunch at restaurant de la Poste in St Leon. Lovely meal with 3 of them having the confit of duck while I went for their superior burger. All agreed it was lovely meal.

A stroll around St Leon after lunch and a photo taken in one of the back streets of this lovely village which is one of the "Le Plus Beau Villages de France" .

To enter the cathedral, you first walk through the ruins of the earlier church built in the 11th century that was destroyed by a fire in the 12th century. The rest of the cathedral was built largely during the 12th century in the Byzantine ...
